Reservations

What can I do if the book I want is out or at another branch?

  • Reservations can be made at the library, by phone or online. Ask staff at the library to make a reservation for you.
  • Reservations can be made via our online catalogue – all you need is your library card number and a PIN (Personal Identification Number). Your PIN can be obtained by phoning any branch of the Corangamite Regional Library Corporation.
  • There is a non-refundable $1.00 charge per item. There is a limit of 12 reservations per borrower.
  • You will receive a notice by mail with a date to collect the reserved item. If not collected by this date the item will go to the next person in the queue or be returned to the collection.
  • Popular items may have a reduced loan period of 14 days due to the waiting list
  • An item on the reservation list can not be renewed.
