Storytimes

Storytime helps to encourage a love of books and reading for pre-school children. There are stories read aloud followed by a craft activity. Contact your local library for further information.

Cobden Storytime receives visit from SES

Cobden Library had a Safety themed story time on Friday 18.04.2008, with a visit from the State Emergency Services (SES).

Attendance was fantastic with about 30 Mums, Dads, Grandmums and Granddads and kids attending! Lots of fun was had by all.

Bob and Ron from the Cobden SES were very kind and informative and gave the kids a tour of their truck and sounded the siren.

Talking Newspapers

In conjunction with Vision Australia Information Library Service, every week the Warrnambool and Colac Libraries coordinate a compilation of the previous week’s news on audiocassette. This service is available free to vision impaired people and those with reading or physical disabilities.

School and Group Visits

The Corangamite Regional Library Corporation welcomes school and group visits. These can be arranged with your local branch.

Photocopiers

Each branch library has a self-service photocopier for public use (copyright conditions apply). Cost is 20c per A4 and (where available) 40c per A3.
